Sales Policies
* Once a sale is complete, I do NOT refund.
* If you find that you are no longer able to care for the animal(s) that I sold to you, you can contact me and explain the situation. If I have room on my farm, I will freely provide the animal with a temporary housing solution until it is able to be re-homed (cages must be provided with rabbits). If I do not have space, I will still gladly aid you in the advertisement process so that the animal can find a good home.
* If you would like for me to hold an animal for you, contact me and let me know which animal(s) you would like me to reserve. I will NOT hold/reserve an animal for you until a deposit has been received. This ensures that the animal finds a good home at the proper time. If you absolutely need to cancel a sale, please contact me and explain the situation. Please note that deposits are non-refundable except under extreme circumstances.
* If you do not show up at the scheduled sale date/time (without previously notifying me), the animal(s) will be put back up for sale.
* All owed money must be paid in full before taking the animal(s) home with you. Money must be paid in cash, but I do accept checks for deposits.
*I am not responsible for anything that happens to the animal(s) post-sale; however I'm happy to help in any way that I can (offer advice) to ensure that the animal(s) get what is best for them. Animals are only sold if I feel that they are healthy.
* Pricing is based on the individual animal's quality, temperament, and color.
* I reserve the right to cancel a sale at ANY time for ANY reason. Under this circumstance, your deposit will be refunded. I won't cancel unless I absolutely need/have to.
*I have a waiting list for those interested in purchasing future animals. Those higher on the waiting list get first pick of animals that are born. Last on the waiting list gets last pick. Animals can be reserved before being weaned, but can NOT be purchased/taken before the age of 2 months/8 weeks unless otherwise specified.
* Since the animals are located at my home, I will not disclose my address until a date/time for pickup has been scheduled.
*I am NOT responsible for ANY injuries caused by my animals at any time or injuries that happen at my home.
*Since they are herd animals, goats and sheep must be purchased in pairs unless photographic proof of having other goats/sheep is provided....And don't even ask if housing your goat with your dog counts (trust me, it's happened before LOL).
*If you visit my farm to view the animals, please make sure your children understand that they should not chase my animals. If they begin chasing, you will be asked to leave. Also note that children are not allowed to pick up the animals, and no newborn animals should be handled at all.
*I will not sell intact bucks/bucklings or rams to inexperienced owners. It just isn't a good idea. If I sell a bottle buckling or ram to a pet home (no breeding), the buyer will be required to sign a contract stating that he/she will bring the buckling/ram back to me or the vet to be castrated at 8-12 weeks old.
*Bottle babies will only go to approved homes, meaning that the buyer has either done plenty of research on the subject or has previous experience with bottle feeding. A lot can go wrong when doing this, so this isn't a task for novices.
*When purchasing a goat, please read over the goat care requirements that are listed here. If a prospective buyer fails to meet these requirements, I will not sell to him/her.
* Above all, please, please, please ensure that you can provide your animals with the proper care. These animals are precious and need loving homes where they can live out the rest of their happy lives.
