Goat Forms
The following are samples of forms that you may receive when purchasing a goat from me.
Wether Contract:
The above form is typically used when a buyer wishes to purchase a bottle baby buckling from me that I have decided will only be sold as "pet quality." A pet quality animal should not be used for breeding, so I have designed this contract to better ensure that the buyer is aware that the goat is required to be altered. Because a baby buckling cannot be castrated until 8 weeks old, it is not possible to sell a bottle wether. When a bottle baby buckling is listed on the sale page as pet quality, this contract will be required for purchase. A pet quality animal is often representative of the breed in many ways, but does not possess enough desirable characteristics to reproduce. In addition, by altering your male goat, you free it from the influential hormones that make intact bucks unsuitable as pets and for novices.
A stated in the contract, the buyer is allowed to set up an appointment with me to bring the goat back during the 8-12 week time frame to be castrated and receive a CDT vaccination free of charge. Feel free to contact me with any questions regarding this contract. I'm happy to help.
To further encourage you to alter your pet quality buckling, I've listed several of the difficult behaviors/attributes of intact bucks:

To further encourage you to alter your pet quality buckling, I've listed several of the difficult behaviors/attributes of intact bucks:
-Urinating on the face, legs, and stomach
-Urinating on people and other animals
-Aggressive behavior, especially during breeding season
-Tendency to break through enclosures and do anything to get to a doe in heat
-Aggressive behaviors that develop when handled improperly
-Extremely bad smell, especially during breeding season. This scent is difficult to remove from clothes and skin

Wether Information Sheet:
The above sheet is given to folks who have their bucklings castrated here. It includes tips for keeping your baby goat healthy and how to encourage the healing process. Please note that while I am experienced in this, I am not a veterinarian. While I can help out with minor issues, If your wether develops serious complications, please contact your local veterinarian for advice.
Goat Reservation Form:
The above form is sent to buyers after they place a deposit on a goat. This form provides proof of the deposit. I keep a farm copy as well to ensure that the right goat goes to the right person! Please note that deposits will not be refunded except under extreme circumstances (refer to the sales policies page for additional info).
CDT Information Sheet:
This sheet is included in the baby goat care package that all buyers receive. It is intended to provide a brief overview of the CDT vaccine.
Health Record:
Health records of goats are given to buyers when applicable.
Doe Kidding Record:
I like to keep up with the production of my animals, so buyers will receive this sheet if purchasing an adult doe who has kidded at least once.
Buck Production Record:
I use the above sheet to keep track of the productivity of my bucks. It follows along with the doe production record and is recorded when the does kid. Buyers will receive this sheet when purchasing a buck that has sired offspring.
Milk Production Record:
I keep a copy of this when milking my does to keep track of their production throughout lactation. Buyers will receive a copy of this if purchasing a doe that I have milked before. In addition, buyers who are purchasing bucklings can ask to view this sheet and a picture of the dam's udder.
